Saturday, May 16, 2009 Two in a row
Well the car wasn't what I wanted for a 75 lap race but it all work out in the end. A horrible qualifing effort after a car oiled down the track made my night a little easier. I had to start on the pole in both the heat race and the Main event but luckly won both. In the Main event, after the first few cautions the car developed a serious push. Luckly I was in the front and the other guys had to deal with geating around me. Kenny Chandler hung on the outside for what seemed like foreever. Next in line was Jim Bailey, After that Joe Barton took a shot at it and got around me. But some where around lap 60 he had to pull off because his car quit running. Then it was Rob Powers who wanted to take a look at both the inside and outside. And Finally Kale Freedman tried after the last caution of the race. Once it was all over I was able to hold them all off and pull out to a small lead to collect the checkered flag for my second win in a row.
Saturday, April 25, 2009 Tubbs wins first race in 2009
For my First time I've started out a season strong. Usually I'm blowing a motor the first night out or ripping the fenders off the car. This is the first season that I'm starting in the points chase. I'm really looking forward to how the can go from here. This is also my first win in this class. I hope to make it a few more by the end of the season.

Sunday, July 13, 2008 Finally back
After a long time off I'm back. First night out with the new engine I had bad luck.I ripped the front bumper off in the first practice session, and got the car got back out for qualifying. I ended up third fastest for the night, finished fourth in the trophy dash then things got worse. The crew and I we're so frantic trying to get the car back together we ran out of gas in the heat race. Then a sticky throttle cable took the car out of the main. Better luck next time.
Sunday, July 13, 2008 Better Results
Now I'm starting to get results. Qualified forth fastest July 12th, won my first trophy dash, and finished fourth in the heat race. With a 15 car field it was time for the main event. I started 10th in the 2nd row outside. The first caution of the main happened on lap 1 when Rob Powers and D.J. Lyons got tangled. I barley fit threw a hole between powers and the wall. The race got back underway and I was scored in 7th or 8th. I made a couple of passes and had just the top three in front of me and was running them down. George Gorton spun in front of the leaders collecting Brandon Mclean, sending them both to the rear of the feild. When the race resumed Jim Bailey passed me on the outside and I stayed in forth place to finish the night. Not bad with my previous luck.
